How should you care for dog clothes?
Bamboo cotton rewards a gentle hand. Machine wash cool, skip the bleach, dry it in the shade, and iron on low heat if you iron at all. That’s the whole routine. Do it and the fabric keeps its softness and its shape, wash after wash.
How do I wash Furrybae clothes?
Machine wash cool with similar colours and skip the bleach. A mild detergent is plenty. Wash anything wet or muddy before it goes back on, and rinse well so no detergent sits against your pet’s skin.

Can they go in a tumble dryer?
We wouldn’t. Heat is what shrinks a terry knit and takes the softness out of it. Hang it to dry in the shade instead, and let it dry right through before your pet wears it again.

How do I care for the bathrobe?
Same gentle routine. Wash it cool with similar colours, skip the bleach and dry it in the shade. Terry holds a lot of water, so hang it somewhere airy and let it dry right through before you fold it away. That keeps it fresh for the next bath.
When should I take it off?
When it’s wet or muddy, or when your pet starts panting, rubbing, scratching or just seems unhappy in it. Clothing is a comfort, not a stand-in for shade, water and rest on hot days. If there’s a wound or a skin problem underneath, check with your vet before covering it.

How often should I wash it?
Whenever it needs it. After a muddy walk, a rainy day or a few days of sofa lounging, into the wash it goes. Fresh fabric is comfier fabric, and our bamboo cotton scored 4 to 4.5 out of 5 for colour fastness to washing in Intertek’s tests, so regular washing is exactly what it’s built for.
Any tips for cats?
Plenty of cats wear our clothes, and most cat owners take the Small. Stay with your cat for the first wear and check the neckline, chest and legs. If they freeze, hide or try to back out of it, take it off and try again another day.

What should I check before the next wear?
Make sure it’s completely dry, then give the neck, armholes and seams a quick look. If the fit has changed or something rubs, retire it. It takes ten seconds and saves a sore spot.
