Picking a size: measure your dog standing up. Take the chest at its widest point, then the back from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Both buckles adjust, so if your dog sits between two sizes, go one up.

How do I use it after a bath or a rainy walk?
Towel off the worst of the water, lay the robe over their back, then clip both buckles under the belly, snug with room for two fingers. Let your dog rest in it while the terry does the work. After a muddy walk, rinse the paws and legs first.
Take it off once the coat feels dry to the touch, or sooner if it’s soaked through or your dog starts panting or fussing. Stay close while they wear it, and don’t leave them alone in it. Thick double coats take longer, so check underneath now and then.

Will my dog stay in it?
The two buckles close under the belly and adjust to fit, so a good shake won’t send it flying the way a towel does. Let your dog sniff it first, and try it on dry with a treat or two before the first real bath.
How do I wash the robe?
Wash it cool with similar colours, skip the bleach and dry it in the shade. Terry holds a lot of water, so let it dry right through before you fold it away. That keeps it fresh for the next bath, and the loops stay soft.
