Is “bamboo cotton” really bamboo?

Yes, it starts as bamboo. The soft fabric sold as bamboo cotton begins as bamboo pulp, which is turned into a smooth cellulose fibre and knitted into cloth that feels like very good cotton. The label should tell you exactly what is in it. Ours says 100% bamboo cotton, 240GSM.
